The Agnes Inversiones team, with the help and commitment of sponsors – including Polish companies and entrepreneurs, donors and volunteers – once again organised the Finale of the GOCC on Spain’s Sunshine Coast. Today we already know that we managed to beat last year’s record. On the day of the Finale, on the Allegro auctions and thanks to the e-purse, we collected a total of PLN 240 177.71, which is more than €55 000!
Poles for GOCC in Spain
This year’s 33rd GOCC Finale was once again held at Caseta CEPYME on the Recinto Ferial in Fuengirola and attracted more than 1,000 participants. It was led by the Chief of Staff Janina Ferlin and Tadeusz Piechotka. Michał Fabiszewski, winner of MasterChef and winner of the prestigious Cook for Change competition, honoured us with his presence and help with preparations. He donated to the auction… the preparation of a dinner in the home of its winner.
Hearts for the GOCC were also opened by local artists who graced the event for charity: guitarist Sebastian Klimas, violinist Alicja Staręga, DJ and singer Kama Salach, musician Jan Policki and belly dancer Bibi Matita. The event was also warmed up by a salsa and bachata show performed by Ania Wojtyńska and Jesusa el Chino.
Unique items from celebrities, artists and athletes
Among the items put up for auction were: an invitation to the set of Rodzinka.pl for four people, a pun with Sonia Bohosiewicz, a golf camp in Marbella organised by Adrian Kaczała, a speedboat cruise with Joanna Koroniewska and Maciej Dowbor, an autographed book by Jolanta Kwaśniewska and an album about Poland signed by President Rafał Trzaskowski.
Klinika Ambroziak donated vouchers and its own sets of cosmetics and supplements, and Maciej Wróblewski – the hairdresser to the stars – donated a voucher for a makeover. Participants in the 33rd Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity on the Costa del Sol could also bid for an exceptional photograph by Marcin Tyszka for Vogue, a painting by Rafał Olbiński, a diamond heart or a golf bag autographed by Adrian Meronek.
In addition, unique items have been put up for auction at Allegro, including: a T-shirt autographed by Mariusz Czerkawski and the puck with which he scored the goal, a golf ball autographed by Adrian Meronek or a tennis ball autographed by Hubert Hurkacz. The highest scores were achieved by a T-shirt autographed by the handball team – winners of two silver and one bronze medal at the World Championships – and a vinyl with the soundtrack of „Peasants” autographed by the artists L.U.C. & Rebel Babel.
All auctions attracted great interest, but the real highlight was the climb up La Concha with Agnieszka Marciniak-Kostrzewa, founder of Agnes Inversiones – the main sponsor and organiser of the 33rd GOCC Finale on the Costa del Sol. The thrilling auction ended with the two most serious bidders joining forces to contribute a staggering €2,600 to the piggy bank, and they will climb La Concha together with Agnieszka Marciniak-Kostrzewa. This is the record sum raised during the live auction since the beginning of the Marbella headquarters.

Polish community breaks another record
Participants at the event were also able to enjoy Polish dishes, prepared by volunteers and the owners of Polish restaurants – including Karabas Grill. There were also cakes baked by the Polish community and the now legendary doughnuts from the Mariposa patisserie. Children were also involved in the event, preparing and selling bracelets or supporting the book fair staff.
Our compatriots – both those living on the Costa del Sol and Poles on holiday at the time – together showed their big hearts and bid hard to help the youngest oncology and haematology patients. The work put into preparing the event once again brought the organisers and volunteers great satisfaction. The sense of unity among the Polish community on Spain’s sunshine coast on this day resulted in an amazing atmosphere, and the record achieved once again confirmed how big hearts everyone supporting the 33rd Finale of the GOCC on the Costa del Sol has.
