Meet Agnes Inversiones
Agnes Inversiones Road to Marbella 2025 golf tournament in Krakow is over

Golf today is not only a sport, but also a way of bringing people and cultures together. September’s Agnes Inversiones Road to Marbella 2025 tournament in Krakow showed that the green can be a meeting space between Poland and Spain. The event was another step in building bridges between the passion for the game and the lifestyle that the Costa del Sol offers.

What will you read about in this note?

Poland and the Costa del Sol on one green

On 13 September, Kraków Valley Golf & Country Club hosted a unique event – the Agnes Inversiones Road to Marbella 2025 tournament, organised by the largest, oldest and most recognisable Polish real estate office on the Costa del Sol, in cooperation with the MRBL Golf Association. The organisers had the idea of bringing a bit of Spanish atmosphere to the Polish greens, which actually succeeded fully; Krakow Valley literally opened the weather window for Saturday and the players enjoyed the game (and the prizes! – about those a bit below) in full sunshine. A group of 72 players took to the start line, and the best of them will soon be visiting us in Spain.

Participants competed in net stroke play (categories 0-18 and 18.1-36) and gross classification for ladies and gentlemen. There was a prize worthy of the tournament’s name for the two net category winners – a week’s stay on the Costa del Sol with five nights’ accommodation and four green fees at the renowned golf courses – Rio Real, Santa Clara, Miraflores and Valle Romano. The gross category winners were invited to the annual Agnes Invitational, a tournament that is growing in popularity every year. Among those honoured were: Maciej Termanowski (HCP group 0-18), Andrzej Dudzinski (HCP group 18.1-36), Bartosz Kuliberda (Brutto Men), Krystyna Sitek (Brutto Women).

The Road to Marbella tournament was organised with the support of the MRBL Golf Association, which popularises golf among Poles on the Costa del Sol and in the country. It also organises tournaments and golf camps on the Costa del Sol.

Tournament in red and white

The September tournament in Krakow was a natural continuation of Agnes Inversiones’ activities for the Polish golf community on the Costa del Sol. On 3 May, Santa Clara Golf Marbella hosted the Agnes Inversiones Invitational tournament for the third time. The event brought together 80 golfers dressed in red and white, with organisers pointing to the important role of golf in connecting the Polish community with the local community. The tournament was honoured by the presence of the Polish Ambassador to Spain, Monika Krzepkowska.

Tournaments such as the Road to Marbella and the Agnes Inversiones Invitational testify to the growing importance of golf. Thanks to them, Polish golfers can experience the charm of the Costa del Sol and see why the region is considered one of the safest havens for investors in Europe. At a time when so many compatriots are choosing to buy property in Spain, the sport is becoming a natural link between the industry and the Andalusian lifestyle.

Successful Poles in the national final of the PGA Poland Tour

In the same week as the Road to Marbella, the grand finale of the PGA Poland Tour series was played – the PGA Poland Championship by ROBYG at the Black Water Links course – another golf event supported by Agnes Inversiones.

The net stroke play classification was won by Julia Ruś with a score of -10; second place went to Szymon Nowak (-5) and third place to Hugo Wiza (-3). The gross classification was triumphed by Oskar Zaborowski (-5), followed by Filip Wysokiński (-1) and Michał Guzowski (+2). The best amateurs of the series were Jacek Pieńczak (net) and Jan Branicki (gross), while the winner of the Order of Merit ranking was Alejandro Pedryc.

Costa del Golf – a paradise for players all year round

The popularity of the Road to Marbella tournament is also due to the magic of the place itself, the Costa del Sol. There are more than 70 golf courses in the province of Málaga, with the largest number located in Marbella, Estepona, Mijas and Benahavís. The region attracts a variety of courses – from technical holes overlooking the Mediterranean to historic ones – such as Atalaya Golf – while offering courses to suit players of all levels.

What makes so many people want to play here? First and foremost, the climate – the Costa del Sol boasts more than 320 days of sunshine a year, so the golf season lasts virtually all year round. An international community, numerous academies and frequent tournaments make beginners and professionals alike feel at home here.
