Poles are breaking new records on the Spanish property market, buying more than 3,000 properties in the first three quarters of 2025 alone, and more than 15,000 from 2020 onwards. The interest is not waning, as illustrated by the increasing share of our compatriots among foreign buyers of houses and flats on the Iberian Peninsula.
The prospects for the property market in Spain, as well as the myths associated with it, were discussed by Agnieszka Marciniak-Kostrzewa in an interview with Marcin Kuchciak of the Subiektywnie o Finansach website. In the interview, you will read, among other things, about:
- changes that have taken place in the Spanish market over two decades,
- the growing share of Poles among foreign property buyers,
- Why 'ransoms’ are a myth on the Costa del Sol,
- the real rate of return on the purchase of a flat for rent,
- the scale of the increase in property prices in Spain.
