From January 15, 2026, Poles will find it even easier to fulfill their dreams of Spanish sunshine. This will be possible thanks to a new LOT Polish Airlines connection between Warsaw and Malaga. Flights will operate four times a week during the winter season and as many as six times a week during the summer season.

Located on the sunny Costa del Sol, the city of Malaga is not only a popular tourist destination, but also one of the most dynamically developing airports in Europe. In November 2025, Malaga Airport recorded 25 million passengers, placing it among the top airports in the Iberian Peninsula.
The increase in the popularity of Malaga Airport among Poles is particularly noticeable, as in 2024 the number of passengers from Poland increased by 84% year-on-year. High-quality service and modern infrastructure translate into good reviews, and in the global DiscoverCars ranking, Malaga Airport was recognized as the eighth best in the world.
Aeropuerto de Málaga – Costa del Sol (AGP) International Airport, as it is officially known, is constantly developing. Work is underway to expand the terminals and modernize the infrastructure, which will increase the airport’s capacity and passenger comfort. Airlines are announcing further increases in the number of connections from Poland, including year-round ones.

Malaga is becoming an increasingly accessible, key transport hub – both for tourists and for Poles living in Spain. Tickets for the new route are already available for purchase at fly.lot.com. Ryanair is also extending its connection from Chopin Airport to Malaga from the winter to the summer season, offering six flights a week. Wizzair also offers flights from Warsaw and other Polish cities.
Connections from Poland to Malaga are offered from: Warsaw (Chopin and Modlin airports), Krakow, Katowice, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Poznań, and Łódź. Routes have also been launched from Vilnius and Ostrava, making it easier for residents of Central and Eastern Europe to access sunny Andalusia.
