More and more Poles are moving to the Costa del Sol, choosing the sunshine coast no longer as a second, but as their first home. This can be seen both in the statistics for the purchase of Spanish properties by our compatriots and through the growing Polish community.
Interestingly, the cost of living in Spain is not at all higher than in Poland. On top of this, there are more than 320 days of sunshine a year, a Mediterranean diet and a laid-back Spanish lifestyle – so it is no wonder that the south of Spain attracts Poles so strongly. In an interview with Agnieszka Woźniak of Wirtualna Polska, Agnieszka Marciniak-Kostrzewa talked about, among other things:
- trends that have been and continue to be evident in the Spanish property market over the years,
- why the economy and geopolitics are encouraging growing interest in the Costa del Sol,
- expectations – including price – of Polish house and flat buyers,
- How Poles’ attitudes to property on the Costa del Sol have changed.
