More and more Poles are choosing to buy houses and flats in Spain and then to live on the Iberian Peninsula. The Costa del Sol in particular is popular, which is due not only to its friendly climate, but also to its attractive property prices compared to Polish cities.
Poles live, work and invest in Spain
In 2024, Poles purchased more than 4,000 properties in Spain, including in the Andalusia region, of which Marbella is a real pearl. Prices here reach an average of around EUR 5,000 per square metre, which is a very attractive offer in relation to investments on the Vistula. In the Dzień Dobry TVN programme, Agnieszka Marciniak-Kostrzewa, together with Poles living on the Costa del Sol, spoke about:
- Marbella’s competitiveness against Warsaw or Sopot in terms of property prices,
- Poles’ expectations of Spain – as a place to live, work and invest,
- the activity of our compatriots in Marbella, including their setting up of their own businesses,
- the characteristic style of Spanish retirement on the Costa del Sol.
