New flight connection: Warsaw – Malaga
From 15 January 2026, Poles will find it even easier to fulfil their dreams of Spanish sunshine. This has been made possible by LOT…

Are you coming back from holiday and your souvenirs won’t fit within the airline’s baggage allowance? Or perhaps you’re heading off on holiday or visiting your holiday flat in Spain? InPost has solved this problem by introducing a new service – allowing you to send your luggage via a parcel locker.
What will you read about in this note?
At the end of 2024, InPost launched a service enabling parcels to be sent from Poland abroad via parcel lockers. Initially, parcels could only be sent from Poland to seven European countries: France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain and Portugal, and more recently also to Italy.
At the end of May 2026, InPost introduced a system upgrade designed to enable parcels to be sent from abroad to Poland using the Polish version of the website. The launch of a new product, the ‘InPost Parcel Suitcase’, was also announced.
The suitcase has been designed to fit perfectly into compartment C, thanks to its dimensions of 41 x 38 x 64 cm. This significantly exceeds the hand luggage limits imposed by most airlines, and even those for an additional piece of hand luggage.
Furthermore, the maximum weight of a parcel sent via InPost is 25 kg, whereas with major airlines the limit is 10 kg. Detailed information on the permitted dimensions of parcels can be found on the InPost website. The suitcase has detachable wheels and a 4-digit combination lock, which ensures security.

InPost provides estimated delivery times for parcels to Poland, as well as for international deliveries. These times depend on the country of dispatch or destination. For example, a parcel posted in Italy arrives in around 5 working days, in France in around 3 days, and in Spain in around 5 working days. The delivery time is calculated from the next working day after the parcel is posted.
You can send your luggage via the SzybkieNadania.pl website or the InPost app by selecting the ‘Send’ option under the ‘International Parcel’ tab. Next, you need to specify the size of the parcel – for a suitcase, this will be box C – then fill in the recipient’s and sender’s details and pay the postage fee online.
The method for posting luggage depends on the country from which it is being sent to Poland. In the case of Spain, Portugal or France, all you need to do is print out the label or QR code and attach it to the parcel.
The cost of sending a parcel from Poland abroad ranges from just under 29 zł to around 55 zł – depending on its dimensions. In the case of InPost’s dedicated suitcase service, the cost will be around 55 zł. Sending luggage from Spain to Poland involves slightly higher costs, though these are still lower than the surcharge for excess baggage at the airport. The cost of sending a parcel from Spain to Poland ranges from 50 to 105 zł – depending on the size of the parcel.

If your hand luggage exceeds the permitted dimensions or weight, you will certainly have to pay a surcharge at the airport. In the case of an excess baggage charge at the airport, the exact price is not known in advance, as it depends on the amount by which your luggage exceeds the limit. However, sending your luggage via a parcel locker allows you to find out the exact cost of the service in advance and prepare better for your journey.
The baggage charge at the airport may increase significantly if the dimensions or weight of your baggage significantly exceed the specified limits for unchecked baggage (over 10 kg or larger than 55 x 40 x 20 cm / 55 x 40 x 23 cm). In many cases, you will then need to check in your luggage. The price for this during peak season can be as high as over 500 zł (with Wizz Air), which is almost five times the price set by InPost for a parcel of similar dimensions.
In addition, InPost allows for larger parcel dimensions than airlines. For example, for luggage weighing over 20 kg, Wizz Air may charge a higher fee, whereas with InPost the price depends solely on the parcel’s dimensions, not its weight.
Extensive modernisation work is currently underway at Málaga – Costa del Sol Airport (AGP), which will increase the airport’s capacity for the upcoming summer season. During the summer holidays, it will be possible to fly from Warsaw to Málaga seven days a week, and as of June 2026, the average number of flights stands at 21 per week. This equates to an average of three flights a day on the Warsaw–Málaga route during the summer season.

There are now nearly 10,000 InPost parcel lockers in operation in Spain, of which around 1,300 are located in Andalusia. On the InPost website you will find a map showing the locations of parcel lockers across Europe, including those on the Costa del Sol.
There is no need to take out separate insurance for luggage or a parcel sent via an InPost parcel locker from Spain to Poland, as every parcel is covered by insurance worth up to 5,000 zł, included in the price of the service.
