Premios Juventud in Marbella – the historic Latin music awards ceremony comes to Europe for the first time!

This year, Marbella will host a unique event promoting Latin music – the Premios Juventud gala.

Premios Juventud – one of the most important awards in Spanish-language pop culture

The Premios Juventud is an annual awards ceremony dedicated to stars of music, cinema and Spanish-speaking pop culture in the broadest sense. Held since 2004, the event honours the most popular artists and creators. Among the multi-award-winning stars are such celebrities as Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Bad Bunny and Jennifer Lopez. The winners in each category are chosen by viewers via an online vote.

A historic gala outside the Americas

The Premios Juventud awards are organised by the American media group TelevisaUnivision, and for over two decades the ceremony has been held in the Americas – mainly in the United States, but in recent years also in Puerto Rico and Panama. This year’s gala will be the first to be held outside the Americas. On 3 September, the stars will be guests at the Starlite Auditorium in Marbella.

A unique setting for a unique event

The Starlite Auditorium is situated in the Sierra Blanca district, known as the ‘Beverly Hills of Marbella’, at the foot of La Concha peak. This prestigious district, which overlooks the city, is renowned for boasting the most luxurious residences in Andalusia. It is characterised by its tranquillity, picturesque mountain scenery and views of the sea and the Marbella skyline, which can be seen from every one of the properties there.

Details of this year’s event

The gala will take place on 3 September 2026 at 10.00 pm and will mark the culmination of the week-long PJ Fest – a festival combining music, cultural events and meetings with artists, taking place in the United States and Spain.

In this year’s 23rd edition of the event, the artists with the most nominations across the various categories include Carín León (no fewer than 9 nominations), Beéle, Kany García and Rauw Alejandro (7 nominations each). The nominees in the main category – Artist of the Year – are:

• Artists nominated for the Premios Juventud Femenina – in the women’s category – Aitana, Ana Mena, Anitta, Elena Rose, Kany García, Karol G, Natti Natasha, Rosalía, Shakira, Young Miko;
• Premios Juventud Male Artist – in the men’s category – Bad Bunny, Carín León, Danny Ocean, Farruko, Maluma, Myke Towers, Quevedo, Rauw Alejandro, Romeo Santos, Xavi.
